Terms of Service
Jewish Dispatch Limited ("Jewish Dispatch", "we", "us" or "our") is the owner and operator of this website. Jewish Dispatch ™, WireNews ®, WireNews Network ™ and OfficialWire ™ are trademarks of Jewish Dispatch Limited, formerly WireNews Limited, a Scottish corporation owned by Mayside Partners Limited. Jewish Dispatch Limited continues to own the registered trademark WireNews ®, including UK Registered Trademark No. UK00003993409, together with associated trademarks and branding rights in the United Kingdom and elsewhere.
1. Definitions
1.1. “User” means the party that uses the services of Jewish Dispatch news distribution system
1.2. “Agreement” means this Terms of Service Agreement between the User and Jewish Dispatch
1.3. “Content” and “User Content” mean all information and materials submitted by User to Jewish Dispatch
1.4. “Service” or “Services” means the products and services provided to User by Jewish Dispatch Limited
1.5. “Partner” or “Partners” means any third party that has a joint venture or marketing relationship with Jewish Dispatch
2. User Representations & Warranties
User is solely responsible for the accuracy and authenticity of the Content submitted by User to Jewish Dispatch. User represents and warrants to Jewish Dispatch, as follows:
2.1. The User has the right and is authorised to submit the Content to Jewish Dispatch for distribution, broadcasting, and/or filing;
2.2. That the Content is true and accurate;
2.3. That the User is not impersonating any person or entity or misrepresenting User’s affiliation with any person or entity;
2.4. That the distribution, broadcasting, and/or filing of the Content does not violate U.S., European, Regional, State, Federal or common-law copyright, trademark, or service mark rights, any other property rights, privacy rights, intellectual property rights, confidentiality rights or other proprietary or contractual rights of any third party;
2.5. That the Content does not contain any information which is libellous or otherwise illegal;
2.6. Jewish Dispatch shall be entitled to claim the derivative copyright to any Content published by Jewish Dispatch, whether published on Jewish Dispatch's website or any other third-party website or social media account, on behalf of User when the original Content was sourced by Jewish Dispatch or its Agents for the benefit of User;
2.7. That User will not misuse the Service or misappropriate the Content to compete directly or indirectly with Jewish Dispatch or to engage in derivative commercial activities without Jewish Dispatch's prior written consent (including, but not limited to the placement of Google or other online advertisements within the HTML code of articles or press releases—hidden or otherwise—which for the avoidance of doubt is not permitted under any circumstances); and
2.8. That User has investigated the desirability of utilising Jewish Dispatch's services and is not relying on any representation, guarantee, or statement other than as set forth in these Terms of Service
3. Prohibited Media
Jewish Dispatch reserves the right to decline to accept for publication and/or to remove from publication any media that, at its sole discretion, it determines to be objectionable and/or in violation with the spirit of the service, including but not limited to:
3.1 Any media that seeks to promote or otherwise advances a false narrative regarding Palestine or the so-called 'Palestinian' cause, including any media that seeks to contradict the right of the Jewish people in Israel or that otherwise promotes or advances Arab terrorism, against the Jewish people anywhere, including images or slogans or statements that are proscribed in the United Kingdom or that advance that anti-Jewish narrative;
3.2 Pornographic media or any media deemed as “adult content”;
3.3 Weapons and or ammunition;
3.4 Escort services;
3.5 Any illegal product or service based on the laws of the United Kingdom;
If your article is refused you will receive a general explanation as to the reason why the media was refused. There is no right of appeal against that decision.
4. Financial Attribution Policy
4.1 Jewish Dispatch applies a policy of accurate financial attribution when reporting on public spending. Where official statements or press releases state that “the government” will pay for or fund a programme, Jewish Dispatch may amend the language to reflect the true source of funding, including taxpayers, public borrowing, or future taxpayers. These edits do not alter the substance of the announcement. They are made solely to ensure clarity and factual accuracy regarding who ultimately bears the financial cost of public expenditure. Jewish Dispatch considers transparent attribution of public spending to be a matter of journalistic integrity and public accountability.
5. Article Removal
5.1 Where a significant factual error is confirmed, we will endeavour to correct the content as soon as reasonably practicable. Corrections may be made by updating the article, adding a correction note, publishing an editor's note, or taking other appropriate action depending upon the nature and significance of the issue. Press releases and sponsored articles are published on behalf of third parties. Where factual concerns are raised regarding such content, Jewish Dispatch may refer the matter to the original publisher or sponsor while conducting its own review. We reserve the right to amend, annotate, suspend, or remove such content where appropriate.
6. Indemnification
6.1 In the event any third party brings any action, arbitration, or other legal proceeding (collectively, “legal proceeding”) against Jewish Dispatch, its partners, officers, directors, shareholders, agents, employees or other representatives of Jewish Dispatch, or against any third party who broadcasts, displays or distributes the Content with the permission of Jewish Dispatch, or against any third party who provides advertising for Jewish Dispatch, or against any other third party who otherwise uses the Content with Jewish Dispatch's permission (collectively hereinafter referred to as “the Indemnities”), or against any Partner, arising from the distribution, broadcast, filing or display of any Content provided by User to Jewish Dispatch or, from any breach by User of this Agreement, or, based upon the inaccuracy of any warranty or representation made by User herein, or, based upon the contention that the Content defames or slanders any third party or, based upon the contention that the Content violates any provision of European, regional, state or federal law or the intellectual property rights of any third party, User shall indemnify, defend, and hold the Indemnities harmless in connection with the claims made in the legal proceeding. Included in User’s obligation to indemnify, defend, and hold the Indemnities harmless is the obligation to pay all solicitor’s or attorneys’ fees, expert witness fees, costs, and expenses incurred or to be incurred by the Indemnities in connection with the defense of the legal proceeding (even if the legal proceeding is without merit).
7. License
7.1 User hereby grants Jewish Dispatch a non-exclusive, royalty-free, sub-licensable, transferable, and assignable license to store, display, reproduce, distribute and, if appropriate, translate the Content submitted. User also grants Jewish Dispatch the right to mention User’s name in Jewish Dispatch's marketing collateral, unless User requests in writing that Jewish Dispatch refrain from such mentions.
8. Press Cards
8.1 Jewish Dispatch charges £150 per year for its internationally recognised physical WireNews Press Card, which includes a lanyard, card holder, and Digital Press Card. Jewish Dispatch charges £10 per year for its internationally recognised Digital Press Card.
8.2 Press Card membership is renewed annually. The applicable membership fee will be charged each year unless and until you cancel your membership or it is cancelled by Jewish Dispatch.
9. Sponsored Articles
9.1 Jewish Dispatch charges £200 per Sponsored Article. Sponsored Articles are promotional or commercial content published on behalf of a business, organisation, charity, public figure, or individual and may take the form of an advertorial, company profile, product or service feature, announcement, opinion piece, or other marketing-related content. Sponsored Articles are clearly identified as sponsored content and are published within the Jewish Dispatch platform rather than through its press release distribution service. Sponsored Articles are not press releases and are subject to editorial review to ensure they comply with Jewish Dispatch's publishing standards, policies, and applicable laws. Publication of a Sponsored Article does not imply endorsement by Jewish Dispatch of any product, service, organisation, opinion, or claim contained within the article.
10. Press Releases
10.1 Jewish Dispatch charges £200 per Press Release. Press Releases are official statements issued by businesses, organisations, charities, government bodies, public figures, or other entities for the purpose of announcing news, events, appointments, achievements, product launches, financial results, or other matters of public interest. Press Releases are published through the OfficialWire press release service and are clearly identified as press releases. While submissions may be reviewed for compliance with publishing standards, formatting requirements, and applicable laws, Press Releases are published substantially as submitted and represent the views and statements of the issuing organisation. Publication of a Press Release does not constitute endorsement, verification, or approval by Jewish Dispatch, OfficialWire, or their respective publishers of any claim, opinion, product, service, or organisation referenced within the release.
11. Continuous Subscriptions
11.1 Jewish Dispatch offers Unlimited Access Press Release and Sponsored Article Subscriptions for organisations that require regular publication services. Subscriptions are available on a monthly basis (£329 per month), quarterly basis (£829 per quarter), or annual basis (£3,299 per year), and permit the subscriber to submit an unlimited number of Press Releases and Sponsored Articles during the active subscription period, subject to compliance with Jewish Dispatch's editorial standards, publishing policies, and applicable laws. All submissions remain subject to review and acceptance, and Jewish Dispatch reserves the right to reject, suspend, or remove content that does not meet its requirements. Unlimited Access subscriptions are designed for businesses, agencies, charities, public relations firms, and other organisations that publish content on a frequent basis and require a cost-effective alternative to individual publication fees. Subscription fees are recurring and will automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled in accordance with the applicable subscription terms.
12. Default Currency
12.1 Jewish Dispatch charges in GBP (£) for all products and services offered through this website.
13. Value Added Tax (GB-VAT)
13.1 Due to the nature of the services sold by Jewish Dispatch and because the company is both headquartered in the UK and VAT registered, we are required to charge GB-VAT at the prevailing rate (currently 20%) on all purchases. The VAT is included in the price shown on the website and will be shown on the invoice you receive after payment. If you're in the UK or the European Union and registered for VAT, you may be able to reclaim the amount paid.
14. Hours of Operation
14.1 Jewish Dispatch is open Sunday-Thursday, 9 am-7 pm GMT; Friday, 9 am-4 pm (sometimes earlier, depending on the time of year) and closed all day Saturday. Media sent to our ADMIN or posted through Jewish Dispatch outside these hours will be processed upon opening the next business day.
15. NO WARRANTIES
15.1 EXCEPT AS STATED IN THIS AGREEMENT, JEWISH DISPATCH, OR JDL TRADING AS WIRENEWS, OFFICIALWIRE AND OR OUR PARTNERS MAKE NO WARRANTY, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, AND NO PROMISE OR REPRESENTATION HAS BEEN MADE BY JEWISH DISPATCH REGARDING ANY SERVICES TO BE PROVIDED BY OR THROUGH JEWISH DISPATCH OR ANY PARTNER WEBSITE.
16. Distribution Network
16.1 Many thousands of ISP, News Providers, Blogging websites, Social Network websites and numerous other Social Media Outlets crawl, index, compile, and otherwise re-publish Jewish Dispatch's content. Jewish Dispatch offers no guarantee of distribution of Journalist’s content, except that Journalist’s content will be published on Jewish Dispatch's website and it will be distributed to Jewish Dispatch's subscribing journalists and that it will be made available for distribution to any legitimate media network that wishes to re-publish such content subject to their guidelines.
17. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
17.1 JEWISH DISPATCH'S AND ANY PARTNER’S LIABILITY SHALL BE STRICTLY LIMITED TO THE AMOUNT PAID BY OR ON BEHALF OF THE PARTNER TO JEWISH DISPATCH IN CONNECTION WITH THE SERVICES OUT OF WHICH THE CLAIM BY USER ARISES.
17.2 Jewish Dispatch shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or exemplary damages (even if Jewish Dispatch has been advised of the possibility of such damages and including such damages as might be incurred by third parties), arising from performance under, or failure of performance under, any provision of this Agreement, such as but not limited to, loss of revenue, change in share price, loss of anticipated profits or lost business.
17.3 This limitation of liability applies to any damages, including without limitation those caused by any failure or performance, error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorised access to, alteration of, or use of records, whether for breach of contract, tortuous conduct, acts or omissions, negligence, or under any other claim or cause of action.
18. Notices
18.1 At Jewish Dispatch's sole discretion, notices by Jewish Dispatch to Users regarding matters pertaining to this Agreement and/or the performance of this Agreement may be given by means of posting on the Jewish Dispatch website or by email directly to the User.
19. Entire Agreement
19.1 This Agreement, together with the Policies referenced in Jewish Dispatch's Privacy Policy and the Sales Contract (if any) referenced in Jewish Dispatch's Price Policy constitutes the entire agreement between User and Jewish Dispatch regarding the Services provided and/or to be provided by Jewish Dispatch. This Agreement replaces any and all prior written and oral understandings and writings. Unless otherwise explicitly stated, the provisions of this Agreement shall survive its termination.
20. Jurisdiction
20.1 Unless otherwise specified, Jewish Dispatch Limited is operated from Scotland. These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of Scotland, without regard to its choice of law provisions. You hereby consent to the exclusive and personal jurisdiction and venue of the courts in Edinburgh, Scotland, which shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any and all disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms of Service, the use of the Jewish Dispatch website, or any product or service related thereto. Use of Jewish Dispatch's website and or services are unauthorised in any jurisdiction that does not give effect to all provisions of these terms and conditions, including without limitation this paragraph.
21. Electronic Delivery of Notices
21.1 The parties agree that the parties shall treat any document sent to the other by electronic mail as if the document were an original delivered to the recipient by hand delivery.
